In the past months we have witnessed endless disturbing comments by the moderator of the DRC, Prof Piet Strauss especially in the Afrikaans media. These comments did not only disturb our members, but caused immense confusion and called for immediate response from the URCSA leadership.
Free State Moderamen visits Witsieshoek

The ongoing struggle and pain of congregations in the Free State involved in court cases is a serious concern for the Moderamen. URCSA Witsieshoek is one of the congregations that have decided that as demonstration of the witness of the church to the message of reconciliation and unity, to settle outside court. This brave step meant that they gave their church building to the NG Kerk in Afrika and had to find another place of worship.

Windhoek- Mrs Gaynor Platt, wife of Dr. Henry Platt, moderator of the Regional Synod of Namibia, died on the morning of Wednesday, July 11 in Windhoek.
