Allan boesak appointed professor

Stellenbosch- Dr Allan Boesak, Assessor of the General Synod of the Uniting Reformed Church in Southern Africa, has been appointed extraordinary professor in the Faculty of Theology at the University of Stellenbosch on a contract for the next three years. Dr. Boesak will be teaching in the field of Systematic Theology. He will also be responsible for research on globalization and its effect on the community in South Africa, at the Beyers Naude Centre for Public Theology.

Re-unification: judges show the legal way

Re-unification will not be an easy process if we take into consideration the legal challenges. Re-unification is possible, but some legal experts give advice how to do it without creating a lot of problems. More research on how churches in other countries have dealt with this, is also necessary.
